Job summary

Levy is seeking a Financial Controller for Edgbaston Hotel in Birmingham to lead financial governance and commercial insight, reporting to the hotel leadership team. You will drive budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis to support profitable growth and ensure robust controls.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, significant post-qualification experience, and advanced Excel skills; experience in hospitality is desirable. In return, comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification finance experience.
• Experience of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Strong commercial and financial analysis skills.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and non-finance managers.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial management and control framework for the hotel, ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards and brand requirements.
• Produce insightful management reporting that supports informed decision-making and drives business performance.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to the General Manager and hotel leadership team; provide commercial insight and challenge to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with central finance functions and stakeholders to support cash flow and working capital management.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting and forecasting methodologies.
