Job summary

Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre is seeking an Accounts Supervisor to support the Financial Controller, supervise the Accounts Assistant, and take ownership of payroll processing. You will contribute to the hotel’s financial operation and ensure accuracy in daily accounting tasks.

In a busy hotel environment, you’ll apply your experience in payroll, controls, and month-end procedures to deliver reliable financial reports and maintain compliant, confidential records.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance or accounts, preferably in hospitality.
• Experience with payroll processing and understanding payroll procedures.
• Good knowledge of financial controls, reconciliations, and month-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller with day-to-day financial management of the hotel.
• Ensure financial records, transactions, and reconciliations are accurate and up to date.
• Assist with month-end processes, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Monitor income, expenditure, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Complete regular balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
