Job summary

Whitbread is hiring a Hotel Duty Manager for Blackpool Bispham Premier Inn. This fixed-term contract (until 12/12/2026) offers 30 guaranteed hours per week and an hourly rate up to £13.06. The role is not a desk job and involves leading on-floor operations to ensure guests have a great stay.

You’ll work across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant, guiding teams, solving problems and supporting a smooth hotel service. This is a strong stepping stone toward a future Hotel Manager role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate across hotel departments.
• Confident decision-maker with strong guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel shifts and deliver clear pre-shift briefings
• Coach team members throughout the day
• Help guests with questions and resolve issues
• Support multiple teams—from reception to restaurant
• Spot issues early and put them right
• Ensure guest safety and smooth hotel operations
• Collaborate with the Hotel Manager and leadership team
