Pret A Manger in Belfast International Airport is looking for a Hot Food Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare hot food products to the highest standards, follow recipes and food safety procedures, and ensure items are fresh and presented to Pret standards in a fast-paced environment.

Our role offers full training, career progression, and a people-first culture. You’ll work with a supportive team, with shifts including early mornings and weekends, and have opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience in food production is essential.
• Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including early mornings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and cooking Pret's hot food products to high standards.
• Following recipes, specifications and food safety procedures at all times.
• Ensuring products are available, fresh and presented to Pret standards.
• Monitoring cooking times, temperatures and food quality throughout the day.
• Maintaining food safety, health & safety and hygiene standards.
• Managing stock rotation and reducing waste through effective product management.
• Supporting product ordering, deliveries and stock control processes.
• Keeping kitchen equipment and work areas clean and organised.
• Working closely with the shop team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Supporting training and development of new kitchen team members.
• Contributing to a positive, supportive and inclusive team culture.
