Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Market Associate / Account Manager to nurture long-tail hosts in a defined territory, optimise listings, pricing, and revenue while delivering education and support to scale their businesses on the platform.

You will manage a book of host accounts, run onboarding conversations, share strategic recommendations, and collaborate with Market Managers on training programs to boost bookings and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in new sales, account management, or partner support.
• 2+ years of hospitality/travel industry experience (nice to have).
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
• Proven experience working a book of business, driving engagement and growth through proactive account management.
• Highly goal-driven, with a strong bias for action and persistence in the face of challenges.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively via phone, email, and in-person.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business consisting of host entrepreneurs and rising hosts, ensuring their retention, growth, and optimisation on Airbnb.
• Conduct one-on-one optimisation and onboarding conversations, providing strategic recommendations on pricing, availability, and listing quality.
• Secure availability over high compression dates, ensuring hosts maximise their revenue potential.
• Educate hosts on product updates and policy changes, while channeling their feedback to internal teams.
• Respond to host inquiries and provide timely, high-quality support to improve their experience on the platform.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends and take action on opportunities that drive increased bookings and host success.
• Develop long-lasting relationships with hosts, ensuring they receive ongoing support tailored to their needs.
