Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere in Knutsford (Cheshire) is seeking a guest-focused team member for the Club Lounge. You will deliver warm, polished service, guide guests through our food and beverage offerings, and maintain impeccable presentation.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in luxury hospitality, fluency in English, and a passion for delivering 5-star experiences. The role requires weekend and holiday shifts within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years serving/hosting in luxury hospitality
• Passion for 5-star hospitality and delivering it
• Empathetic with talent for building guest rapport
• Calm and courteous under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work well in a team and flexible shifts
• Excellent spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Deliver service to the highest industry standards with a personal touch as one team
• Assist guests with menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way
• Take reservations with all required details in a welcoming manner
• Upsell and drive revenue through creative initiatives
• Share knowledge of offerings and Gordon Ramsay Restaurant knowledge
• Follow health & safety policies when handling food and beverage
• Carry out administrative duties including printing menus and managing stationery

Job Description

• Delivering an extraordinary service experience to the highest industry standards with a distinctive personal touch as one team
• Assisting guests regarding menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way
• Taking reservations with all required details in a welcoming and friendly manner
• Boosting our revenue through upselling and other creative initiatives
• Sharing knowledge of offering, promotions, preparation, general Gordan Ramsay Restaurant knowledge.
• Following all health & safety policies when handling food and beverage
• Carrying out administrative duties, including printing menus and managing stationary requisitions

Qualifications

• 1-2 years serving or hosting experience in a luxury hospitality environment
• Passion for and understanding of 5-star hospitality and what it takes to deliver it
• Empathetic with a talent for building rapport, and reading each guest’s desired level of interaction
• Quick thinking, resourceful and able to solve problems ’in the moment’
• Ability to always remain calm and courteous
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Willing to work in rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
