Job summary

Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is seeking a friendly Host / Catering Assistant to join the Catering Team. The role involves delivering meals to patients, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service in a private hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible approach to working 30 hours per week across shifts from 6:00am to 9:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, hospitality or healthcare is desirable but not essential.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and refreshments to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Assist with food preparation and presentation in line with food safety standards.

Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is looking for a friendly and reliable Host/Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to patients, visitors and colleagues within a leading private healthcare environment. Hours & Working Pattern

Hours & Working Pattern

• 30 hours per week
• Permanent, Part-Time
• Shifts worked between 6:00am and 9:00pm
• 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis
• Monday to Sunday flexibility required

Key Responsibilities
