Position Overview

Core by Clare Smyth, a prestigious 3 Michelin-starred restaurant in London, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Receptionist to join our team. You will play a pivotal role within the Front of House Team providing seamless and professional service to all guests. A welcoming and engaging personality coupled with exceptional telephone etiquette is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Greet all guests with warmth, elegance, and professionalism
Manage and coordinate restaurant reservations using our booking system, OpenTable
Handle guest inquiries and special requests
Communicate effectively with kitchen and floor teams regarding guest preferences and booking details
Maintain accurate guest records, including VIP profiles and dietary requirements
Assist in the preparation of daily service reports and seating plans
Ensure the reception and entrance area is always immaculate and welcoming

Requirements

Prior experience in a front-of-house or guest-facing role, preferably in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
Impeccable grooming, demeanour, and communication skills
Proficiency with OpenTable and Microsoft Office
Fluent or excellent command of English language
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
