Job summary

Care UK in Dorchester is looking for a friendly Host to support residents' dining and daily living needs. You will help provide great customer service, set up the dining room before meals, and monitor cleanliness and dining area checklists.

As part of our committed care team you will enable social interaction, assist with catering duties, and help with special events. Level 2 Food Hygiene is required or willing to undertake training within 12 weeks; flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Food Hygiene required or willing to undertake within 12 weeks.
• Experience in catering services (waiting/serving) beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good judgement, problem solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs.
• Effective time keeping and time management.

Responsibilities

About you

• Level 2 in Food Hygiene (or willingness to undertake the qualification within 12 weeks)
