Job summary

Serco is recruiting an Estates Supervisor for Amersham Hospital to lead a multidisciplinary maintenance team ensuring critical hospital infrastructure remains safe and operational.

The role involves overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across the hospital estate, driving safety, compliance and high-quality service delivery, and supporting continuous improvement to benefit patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or HNC or equivalent.
• Significant supervisory experience in estates or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services and health and safety law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical, electrical, and building fabric maintenance across the hospital estate.
• Manage and develop a team, including performance management and training.
• Ensure maintenance is delivered safely and in line with requirements.
• Oversee permit-to-work, risk management, and compliance audits.
• Maintain records in CAFM for reporting and compliance.
• Build relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
