Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Estates Leader to oversee day-to-day delivery of safe, compliant Hard FM and Estates services across a hospital. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets and contractors, and ensure critical infrastructure remains reliable and compliant with HTMs/HBNs and Health & Safety requirements.

You will drive planned and reactive maintenance, monitor KPIs, support on-call arrangements, and promote continuous improvement while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience leading estates, facilities management or engineering teams in a healthcare/acute hospital environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements and statutory compliance (HTMs/HBNs).
• Experience managing PPM, reactive maintenance, KPIs and service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of safe, compliant Estates and Engineering services across the hospital.
• Supervise engineers, contractors and specialist teams to deliver a high-quality maintenance service.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, compliance and operations to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare legislation and HTMs/HBNs.
• Monitor building systems performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support lifecycle, small works, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide professional technical advice on engineering and Estates matters.
