Job summary

Christie & Co in Glasgow is seeking an Associate Director - Valuer to lead valuation work across Hotels, Pubs & Restaurants, with scope into Healthcare and Medical sectors in Scotland and the UK.

You will join a national team of hospitality valuation experts, report to the Managing Director, and work with Christie Group colleagues to cross-sell and build client relationships while maintaining autonomy in execution.

Qualifications

• RICS Chartered Status required.
• Minimum two years post-qualification experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of trade sector and current market trends.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Report preparation skills.

Responsibilities

• Survey and value properties and trading businesses with rigorous inspections.
• Generate business through email, calls, and market activity awareness.
• Respond to client and applicant enquiries promptly and effectively.
• Prepare marketing literature and detailed valuation reports.
• Coordinate inspections and generate site visits.
• Work toward set targets and deadlines.
• Develop and liaise with solicitors, accountants and other professionals.
• Understand Accounts and Leases relevant to valuations.
• Apply valuation techniques and industry best practices.
• Cross-sell Group companies and services.
• Maintain timely client communications and relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver informed advice.
