Job Type: Part Time - 20 Hours Contract

Hourly Rate: £14.35ph

Key Responsibilities
  1. Organise and deliver successful events in the venue.
  2. Monitor and serve all food and drinks to customers/clients/guests, and clear throughout the event.
  3. Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and aligns with Searcys standards.
  4. Brief the waiting team on all aspects of the business and oversee daily operations alongside the retail manager.
  5. Assist in developing the waiting team, ensuring adherence to standards and providing necessary training, especially in food and beverage service.
  6. Ensure compliance with legislative and government guidelines such as The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, and COSHH regulations.
  7. Ensure all staff present themselves correctly dressed and well-groomed while on duty.
  8. Handle customer complaints effectively and courteously, referring to the line manager when necessary.
  9. Conduct regular checks of the business centre and training academy areas for maintenance, housekeeping, and health and safety issues; report findings to the line manager.
  10. Adhere to in-house accounting policies and monitor food and beverage control, including stock takes.
  11. Promote teamwork and work in a friendly, efficient manner.
  12. Work independently, taking initiative over duties and tasks without supervision.
  13. Comply with all company and client policies and procedures.
