Job summary

Buckfast Abbey in Buckfastleigh is seeking a Hospitality Team Leader to oversee the accommodation and restaurant operations, primarily evening shifts, leading teams, supporting management, and delivering memorable guest experiences.

You will collaborate with chefs and managers across venues, ensure high hospitality standards, health and safety compliance, and help implement company policies while promoting a positive, customer-focused environment.

Hospitality Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hospitality Team Leader to join our Accommodation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hospitality experience who enjoys leading people, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring high operational standards.

About the Role

Based primarily in Northgate House Hotel and San Benedetto's Restaurant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our accommodation and restaurant operations. Working predominantly evening shifts, you will lead teams, support management and help create memorable experiences for our guests.
You will also regularly provide support across our wider hospitality venues, including our Grange restaurant, Abbot's Way café and conference centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support team members during shifts
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high hospitality standards
• Oversee front-of-house operations in the absence of management
