Job summary

Whitbread’s Inverness East Premier Inn is recruiting a Duty Manager to lead on shift, coordinating reception, housekeeping and dining teams to deliver a great guest experience. This is a permanent role with guaranteed hours, offering progression opportunities within a busy hotel.

You’ll supervise and support staff, resolve guest queries, and ensure smooth operation during peak times and late shifts. Be ready to step in across teams and drive excellent service.

Qualifications

• Leads and motivates teams during shifts.
• Remains calm under pressure and makes quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
