Job summary

Waltham Forest College is seeking a Hospitality Technician & Support Practitioner to assist the Hospitality & Catering department. The role covers purchasing, stock control, deliveries and stores administration to support teaching kitchens and real-working environments.

The ideal candidate will have hospitality or catering supervisory experience, a full UK driving licence, and qualifications in food safety and health & safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or catering at supervisory level.
• Strong background in stores, procurement, stock control, and food safety management.
• Willingness to develop professionally and be organised.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, stock control, deliveries and stores administration.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and inventory management systems.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety.
• Support day-to-day running of training kitchens.
• Collaborate with Chef Lecturers to ensure resources are available for teaching.
