Job summary

Capital City College Group is seeking a Work Placement Officer to coordinate safe, meaningful, industry placements for Hospitality and Culinary Arts learners across London. The role combines remote coordination with regular employer meetings and site visits, supporting London Talent Pathways and SWAPs while ensuring compliance and evidence for audit purposes.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating work placements from prep to completion.
• Experience in Hospitality or understanding of the industry demands.
• Experience arranging meetings and workplace or employer-site visits with employers and learners.
• Knowledge of placement health and safety, risk assessment, safeguarding, data protection and employer liability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full placement journey from learner preparation to completion.
• Match learners to suitable employer placements.
• Assess employer suitability and complete placement documentation.
• Monitor learner progress and record outcomes/destinations.
• Arrange employer meetings and undertake employer-site visits.
• Maintain regular contact with learners, employers and curriculum teams.
