RBH Hospitality Management seeks a Maintenance Manager for Hyatt Place London City East in East London. You will oversee the maintenance team, ensuring guest spaces and facilities operate flawlessly while driving a proactive maintenance program.

Lead repairs, upgrades and safety standards, manage budgets, negotiate contracts and collaborate with other departments to deliver a safe, well-presented property for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a maintenance or engineering management role within hospitality or similar setting.
• Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills and track record of building motivated teams.
• Financial acumen to manage budgets and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of maintaining the hotel to high standards, ensuring guest spaces and facilities operate flawlessly.
• Lead and inspire the maintenance team, fostering proactive repairs and day-to-day operations.
• Design and oversee a preventative maintenance programme to extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure guest safety.
• Manage department budget, negotiate supplier contracts and prioritise renovations.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and aesthetic standards.
• Foster continuous improvement and keep up-to-date with tools and maintenance techniques.
