Job summary

BaxterStorey in Southampton is hiring a General Assistant for a 25-hour per week role. You will serve guests, deliver friendly service, and work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations across service periods.

Qualifications

• Have a contagious passion for food and/or customer service
• You draw satisfaction from working within a collaborative and inclusive team environment

• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
• Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner; address needs and requests
• Provide excellent service by being attentive to guests’ needs along their journey and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and a safe, inclusive working environment
• Comply with health and safety regulations and site-specific guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and dining areas
