Job summary

BVC Hospitality is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance across its London venues. The role requires hands-on technical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to coordinate with venue teams and contractors to keep sites safe and operational.

The successful candidate will manage repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvements, while ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards across all sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance, engineering, or facilities.
• Hands-on skills in building systems: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating, and equipment repairs.
• Strong health and safety awareness and compliance knowledge.
• Highly organized with excellent planning and record keeping.
• Able to communicate clearly with venue teams, managers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate day-to-day maintenance across BVC Hospitality venues.
• Prioritize and resolve maintenance requests promptly.
• Perform repairs and general maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical work.
• Monitor maintenance reporting systems and close requests within timelines.
• Conduct site inspections for safety and operational issues.
• Check contractor work and supporting documentation for compliance.
• Maintain asset and maintenance records and support inspections and audits.
• Assist with openings, refurbishments, and engineering projects as needed.
