Job summary

BM Caterers is looking for an experienced Hospitality chef to join our team in Greater London. You will cook fine dining meals as well as corporate buffets, working lunches and canape events, in a fast-paced service environment.

With two years’ experience and qualifications such as C&G 706 1 & 2 or NVQ, you’ll drive culinary excellence, plan balanced menus, monitor stock levels and inspire the team to exceed customer expectations. Apply to join our award-winning team.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar sized operation or busy service environment.
• Passion for hospitality cooking and exceptional food quality.
• Experience creating balanced, well-costed menus and monitoring stock levels.

Responsibilities

• Cook high-quality fine dining and corporate buffet dishes for multiple events.
• Inspire and lead the kitchen team to maintain service excellence.
• Plan menus, manage costs, and oversee stock control during busy service periods.
• Contribute to continuous learning and improvement within the team.

You must be a passionate and confident Hospitality chef looking for an opportunity to cook amazing fine dining food as well as corporate buffet, working lunches and Canape events. Experience with working in a busy service environment is key as there can be a number of events happening at the same time. With sound financial and legislative knowledge, you understand how to achieve targets, plan balanced, well-costed menus and monitor stock levels and controls. And you’ll inspire your team too, promoting a culture of working together to achieve customer satisfaction and exceed expectations. An effective communicator with a strong customer focus, you’ll gain valuable feedback to measure success and be committed to continuous learning. With two years’ experience working in a similar-sized operation and educated to C & G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent experience, you’ll have an exciting portfolio of awards, demonstrating the highest standards in the industry.
