Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations and food service.
• Industry experience in catering or hospitality.
• Confident classroom management and the ability to give learners clear structure and guidance.
• Good communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging practical and theory sessions across Hospitality and Catering programmes.
• Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
• Marking work, giving feedback and carrying out progress reviews.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health and safety in practical training kitchens.
• Maintaining accurate records for registers, attendance and awarding body requirements.
• Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
