Job summary

Baxterstorey is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our Birmingham team. The role is part-time, with an hourly rate of up to £14.50, Monday to Friday on a 24-hour contract.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a contract catering environment or Reception services
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
• Certified Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene is preferred

Responsibilities

• Cross skilling in all areas of the business such as Reception Services and operational duties.
• Oversee Hospitality and Retail services including MOD Bar, Smart fridges and events.
• Oversee and complete the setup, collection, presentation and breakdown of the hospitality service and offer within the Hospitality department – ensuring time constraints and quality are met to the highest standards for our clients.
• Ensure clients are given prompt and efficient service and that expectations are consistently exceeded.
• Co-operate with all team members and undertake duties in the Hospitality department as required.
• Ensure all Health & Safety and Food Safety policies, procedures, and protocols are adhered to.
• Ensure due diligence and all accidents are reported to Management.
• Assist in working as One Team, projecting a willing and helpful attitude to colleagues and clients.
• Assist any other reasonable requests from Management or colleagues.

Job Description

Monday - Friday 24 Hour contract

Hourly rate: Up to £14.50 per hour
