Job summary

Holroyd Howe seeks a Hospitality Assistant for New Hall School (CM3 3HS). You will oversee hospitality and events, liaise with the kitchen and events team, and uphold food, beverage and service standards while delivering excellent guest experiences. 8-hour shifts across a 5-out-of-7 schedule with some evenings are expected.

Term-time hours may apply. We value proactive team players with a genuine enthusiasm for food and service and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or events preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of hospitality and events from start to finish.
• Coordinate with kitchen and events team to meet Holroyd Howe standards.
• Monitor food and beverage controls and ensure policies are followed.

term time only - you will collaborate closely with the Hospitality Supervisor and Hospitality Manager to oversee all aspects of hospitality and events from start to finish. Your role will be pivotal in delivering outstanding guest experiences, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards in hospitality and events.,

• Orchestrate and deliver brilliant operations for all meetings and events - think of yourself as the conductor of a fantastic show!
• Work your magic by liaising with the kitchen and school events team to ensure food and service provision hits those Holroyd Howe standards every single time.
• Keep a keen eye on food and beverage control, whilst ensuring our in-house accounting policies are followed to the letter.
• A team player with a valid driver's license and excellent customer service skills.
• A passion for food and beverage (or genuine willingness to learn!)
• Experience working events and hospitality (or genuine willingness to learn!)
• You're the person others want to follow - professional, reliable, and genuinely great to work with
• You're proactive, roll up your sleeves, and get things done without being asked
