Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Hospitality Apprenticeship Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) to work from home and in the field across the East Midlands. Salary £29,100–£31,200 with excellent holiday entitlement and mileage allowance.

Full training will be provided for both unqualified and qualified candidates. A strong hospitality background (chef level) and supervisory experience are essential, plus a full driving licence and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef up to Kitchen Lead / Chef de Partie level with ability to cook meals from scratch.
• Experience as Assistant Manager / Supervisor in a Pub or Restaurant setting.
• Desirable hotel operations experience including front of house and housekeeping.
• Ability to support learners' Maths and English Functional Skills.
• Full driving licence and own vehicle; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality (Front and Back of House).
• Delivering via blended learning (Remote/face-to-face).
• Delivering Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2.
• Managing your diary to ensure timely visits and reviews.
• Organising and maintaining documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners and overcome barriers to learning.
