Job summary

Yeovil District Hospital in Yeovil is seeking a dedicated learning support assistant to work with pupils in hospital classrooms or at bedside. Qualifications

• Experience as a learning support assistant or similar in education or hospital setting.
• Ability to engage students with diverse social, emotional, medical and mental health needs.
• Creative in developing educational activities for young learners.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital teacher in delivering learning programmes.
• Assist pupils 1:1 or in groups to access curriculum and activities.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive education across settings.
• Engage with parents and medical professionals as needed.
