Blackpool Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Portering team member to support frontline services for staff and patients. The role involves driving a tail-lift vehicle to collect waste, moving furniture, and assisting with relocations within the Trust premises.

The post requires physical fitness, a valid driving licence, and a commitment to safety and confidentiality. Flexibility to work on rosters and bank holidays is included.

Mansioni

• Provide and maintain a frontline Portering service to Trust staff and users.
• Drive a Trust tail-lift vehicle to collect waste streams and linen.
• Move furniture and assist relocations for offices and developments.
• Collect bagged linen and laundry, including soiled/infected items.
• Carry out refuse collections of clinical, household, confidential and specialist waste.
• Ensure vehicle daily checks and refuelling as required.
• Adhere to Portering Service Standards and training.
