Qualifications

• General educational background expected.
• PSV license or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with current Health & Safety issues in healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of lifting & handling safety practices.
• Understanding of Infection Control and COSHH standards.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Laundry & Logistics Department, handling linen stores and confidential mail.
• Move and deliver goods using appropriate vehicles and manual handling equipment.
• Maintain safety, security and COSHH compliance across duties.
• Report defects to equipment or environment to line manager.
• Assist with training and mandatory training as required.
• Drive hospital vehicles up to 4 tonnes as needed.
