Job summary

SCL, the estates arm of County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a Multi Skilled Craftsperson (Plumber) to join the Estates Team at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

You will deliver a comprehensive plumbing maintenance service across the Trust estate, performing planned maintenance, fault finding and repairs to plumbing, drainage and related systems, while working safely in occupied environments and ensuring HTMs and NHS standards.

Qualifications

• Proven plumbing maintenance experience across large estates or hospitals.
• Experience installing, repairing and fault-finding plumbing and drainage systems.
• Current UK Driving Licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs on plumbing and drainage.
• Installation, maintenance and repair of sanitary ware and water services.
• Investigating faults using technical drawings and specifications and recording works.
• Working safely in occupied clinical and non-clinical environments and complying with HTMs.
