Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an outstanding Pharmacy Operations Manager to join the senior pharmacy leadership team at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

This is a key leadership role responsible for ward-based and dispensary technical services, ensuring safe, effective and responsive pharmacy operations across one of the largest acute teaching hospitals in the region.

Qualifications

• Significant post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
• Experience in service development and performance management, with KPI delivery.

Responsabilités

• Lead ward-based medicines management and dispensary services.
• Manage and develop a large pharmacy technical workforce, including rota and recruitment.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, effective pharmacy operations.
• Drive service improvement, innovation and standardisation across pharmacy operations.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to maintain high-quality services.
• Lead workforce transformation and extended roles for technicians.
• Oversee budgets and contribute to financial planning and efficiency programmes.
• Develop business cases for service improvement and patient outcomes.
• Ensure governance, incidents, risks, complaints and audits are handled effectively.
