Job summary

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Rotational Pharmacist for a 16‑month fixed‑term post, with progression to Band 7 on meeting objectives. The role supports developing clinical and patient-facing skills in a busy hospital setting.

The post offers opportunities to undertake postgraduate clinical diploma and independent prescribing courses, with a seven‑day service pattern and on‑call shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Registration as pharmacist with GPhC is required.
• Degree in Pharmacy (Masters level or equivalent) is required.
• Member of Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver front line clinical pharmacy service to patients within a hospital setting.
• Participate in the rotational training programme to develop core foundation skills.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary clinical teams and provide leadership where required.
