Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic optometrist to join a large, supportive team providing outpatient ophthalmic care.

Join a department with strong links to the University of Manchester offering opportunities for clinical development, research, audit and teaching, with induction and in-house training to support growth within extended services.

Qualifications

• GOC registration is required.
• Degree in Optometry is required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver core optometry services including refraction, diagnostics and paediatric services.
• Contribute to extended services (cataract, glaucoma, macular treatment and acute services).
• Participate in research, clinical audit and teaching as opportunities arise.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outpatient care.
• Provide patient advice on needs and corrective aids.
