Job summary

Tech-People is looking for an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join the team at UCLH Hospital in Euston, London. Start date is 7th September 2026 for an initial period with potential extension.

The role is to perform reactive and planned maintenance, fault finding and plant room checks, working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:50. DBS clearance is required, NHS/healthcare experience is preferred, and a strong multi-skilled background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds Plumbing or apprenticeship trained.
• Basic, clear, in date DBS.
• Strong maintenance and installation experience.
• Multi-skilled would be advantageous.
• NHS/healthcare experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Reactive plumbing, mechanical and drainage repairs.
• PPM and planned maintenance.
• Fault finding and remedial works.
• Plant room checks and general M&E maintenance.
• Supporting the wider engineering team when required.
