NHS Scotland is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the Stratheden hospital catering team. You will prepare, produce and present menu items for patients, staff and visitors, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role requires relevant catering qualifications and experience in large-scale catering, flexibility to cover leave, weekend shifts, and PVG scheme eligibility. Uniform and PPE are provided, with generous holiday entitlement and enhanced weekend pay.

Qualifications

• Food hygiene certificate and knowledge of current Food Safety Legislation.
• HACCP knowledge and relevant catering qualifications.
• Experience in large-scale catering is advantageous.
• Flexibility to cover annual leave or sickness; weekend work required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, produce and present menu items for patients, staff and visitors.

• Participate in shifts as required, including weekend work.
