NHS Scotland invites applications for a dedicated chef to join the Central Fife Catering Department based at Victoria Hospital. The role is 36 hours per week across 5 days, Monday to Friday with shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional weekend work possible.

The successful candidate will work to recipes and standards set by the hospital, maintain hygiene and safety procedures, and support stock management and waste minimisation within a busy retail catering service.

Formación

• Previous experience in a large environment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support the preparation, cooking and presentation of a range of foods for our dining room, Grab & Go and Cafe.
• Maintain a safe and efficient retail catering service, following food hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures.
• Assist with stock management, minimise waste and portion control, and support the Retail kitchen supervisor.
