Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a Domestic Assistant to join our hospital cleaning team. You will contribute to infection control and help keep wards, patient areas and public spaces clean to support high standards of care.

Shifts are Monday to Friday evenings, 12.5 hours per week, paid at £12.92 per hour. No prior hospital experience is required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, mopping, wiping and scrubbing surfaces in wards and patient areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of toilets, showers and general areas.
• Support infection control and health and safety guidelines.
