The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join the Domestic Services Team in a relief pool covering wards and departments. The role focuses on maintaining patient and clinical area cleanliness and safety, including discharge and infection cleans and rapid response cleaning under the supervision of the domestic supervisor.

Typical duties include maintaining hygiene standards, following cleaning schedules, and supporting infection control protocols in a high-pressure

Qualifications

• Level 1 functional skills in English and maths is required.
• Basic computer literacy is needed.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment for patients and clinical staff.
• Carry out discharge and infection cleans following local procedures.
• Provide a rapid response cleaning service to wards and departments.
• Carry out isolation room enhanced cleaning per correct procedures.
• General cleaning, dusting, and floor cleaning.
• Clean and descale toilets, sanitary areas, baths, taps and showers.
• Remove clinical and general waste to the designated waste store.
• Replenish disposables, towels, toilet rolls, soaps and gels.
