South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust seeks a part-time hospital housekeeper in Wakefield. You will perform high-standard cleaning across patient areas, assist with meal service, and uphold infection prevention and hygiene guidelines in a mental health inpatient setting.

Applicants should have or be willing to obtain a Level 2 Food Safety certificate; good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for working with staff, patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety is essential or to be undertaken within 12 months.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills required.

Responsabilités

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and dining areas to high standards.
• Store housekeeping equipment and chemicals safely.
• Prepare and serve meals for service users.
• Maintain infection prevention and hygiene per standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to support service users.
