Qualifications

• Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety or willing to undertake within 12 months.
• Basic literacy and numeric skills.
• Commitment to undertaking relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of catering and housekeeping in a mental health inpatient environment.
• Follow national standards of cleanliness and food safety and maintain documentation.
• Serve meals and snacks to service users and manage dietary requirements with staff.
• Maintain ward environment including stock, laundry support and cleanliness.
• Ensure communication with nursing staff and dietitians about special diets.
• Adhere to Trust policies and safeguarding guidelines.
