Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an FM Assistant to support cleaning across St Margaret's Hospital. You will maintain wards, kitchens and other areas to a set schedule, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met for patients and staff.

Applicants should understand COSHH, health and safety, and work well in a team. Flexible hours and rotating shifts are available with NHS benefits and support.

Qualifications

• COSHH awareness and health and safety knowledge.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage daily workload.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned wards and areas to the work schedule.
• Vacuum, sweep, scrub and mop floors.
• Clean toilets, sinks, baths and showers.
• Restock consumables and replace bin liners.
• Descale taps and maintain hygiene to National Standards.
• Provide in-house FM services to specified areas.
