Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Facilities Electrician for our Leeds Oncology contract, based at St James’ University Hospital. This permanent, full-time role offers a 40-hour week, a salary of £32,500–£35,000, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will join a dynamic maintenance team to deliver and maintain services to the highest standards, handling reactive and planned tasks, and providing guidance and training for Authorised Person duties.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified applicants welcome.
• Healthcare experience desirable but not essential.
• Cross-trade experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with the maintenance team to deliver and maintain hospital services to the highest standard.
• Provide a customer-facing, highly responsive maintenance service to the Leeds Oncology Wing.
• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks to a high standard.
• Provide technical guidance to other maintenance team members and contribute to training for Authorised Person duties.
• Report on work in progress and completed tasks to the maintenance supervisor.
