Job summary

NHS Scotland is hiring a Facilities Assistant based at Lawson Memorial Hospital in Golspie. The role is a 25-hour post working a two-week rota, including weekend shifts, with a full induction and training package.

The post provides services to Catering, Laundry and Domestic services, ensures high standards of cleanliness in line with infection control policies, and supports compliance with NHS Scotland Cleaning Services Specifications and Waste Regulations. The salary is paid at £14.22 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to the Catering, Laundry and Domestic services.
• Ensure high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in line with local infection control policies, Covid‑19 guidance and maintaining compliance with the NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification, and Waste Regulations.
• To meet specified cleaning schedules, and promote and maintain high standards of cleanliness within the environment.
• Catering duties include regeneration of meals and preparation of salads, sandwiches and snacks.
• To meet specified Laundry Services to the standard of NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications.
