Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Engineering department on a full‑time 37.5‑hour week with a flexible shift pattern. The role includes maintenance, breakdown support, and on-site engineering guidance within a leading private healthcare network.

The ideal candidate will hold a CSCS card at the appropriate level (ECS if electrical), have mechanical or electrical training, and a solid Health & Safety background including

Qualifications

• Current CSCS Card at appropriate level; ECS Card if electrically qualified
• City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical biased discipline
• Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines and ACOPs
• Understanding of L8 Legionella ACOP within hospital buildings

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt completion of all work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, sub‑contract work and remedial orders.
• Provide routine and specialised engineering maintenance and breakdown support to a hospital site.
• Offer health, safety and environmental support and act as exemplar of policies.
• Train, mentor and supervise Site Technicians or Engineering Assistants.
• Provide engineering support and advice to Local Hospital managers as required.
• Demonstrate a can-do culture with high engineering standards.
