Job summary

Circle Health Group is recruiting an Engineering Technician to join Kings Oak and Cavell Hospitals in Enfield. The role is 37.5 hours per week, full-time, with a flexible shift pattern.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance and support, ensuring safety and quality across the site. The ideal candidate will hold CSCS (and ECS if electrically qualified), appropriate mechanical/electrical engineering qualifications, and a proven apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card at appropriate level; ECS if electrically qualified.
• City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to act as AP and RP Medgas as required.
• Time served apprenticeship in a Mechanical or Electrical biased discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines, ACOPs.
• Understanding of L8 Legionella ACOP within Hospital buildings.
• Good organisation and time management with multiple priorities.
• Sound fault finding techniques and ability to read drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt completion of all work orders for planned maintenance, reactive and remedial work orders.
• Provide routine and specialist engineering maintenance and breakdown support to a specific hospital site.
• Provide health, safety and environmental support and act as an exemplar of company policies.
• Provide training and mentoring to Site Technicians or Engineering Assistants.
• Provide engineering support and advice to Local Hospital managers.
• Demonstrate a can-do culture with exemplary engineering standards.
• Help build a strong team ethos.
• Comply with mandatory training.
