Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking Domestic Assistants for the Enhanced Clean Team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The roles are part time (17.5 hours per week) with shifts 12:30pm to 4pm on a rota that includes weekends. Applicants will receive on-the-job training; uniform and protective clothing are provided.

Welsh/English speakers welcome. These permanent contracts offer the opportunity to contribute to high standards of cleanliness across hospital facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is beneficial but not essential.
• On-the-job training and supervision provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of floors, furniture, and fittings according to set standards.
• Carry out non-cleaning tasks such as washing crockery and making beds with clean linen.
• Operate cleaning equipment to meet required cleanliness levels.
• Handle refuse for disposal and replenish consumables as needed.
• Plan daily workload to complete all cleaning tasks to standard.
