Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is hiring a Domestic Assistant to join our hospital cleaning team. You will play a vital role in infection control and ensuring wards and public areas remain clean, safe and presentable for patients, visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients, visitors and staff.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• High and low dusting, mopping, wiping and scrubbing surfaces.
• Clean wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas.
• Maintain rubbish bins and remove when full.
• Ensure areas are clean, presentable and safe following procedures.
• Use equipment safely in line with Health & Safety guidelines.
