Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is seeking a motivated Catering Services Team Manager to support the Catering Management Team in delivering efficient operational services across the Catering Service at Ysbyty Gwynedd. The post involves leading a hard-working team of chefs and cooks, ensuring best possible catering for patients and staff, with shift work as part of the Food Production Team.

Welsh language is desirable and applications in Welsh are welcome.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or equivalent in professional cookery.
• Level 3 in Food Production.
• Desirable: Level 4 Managing Food Safely.
• Experience of working in a Catering Department.
• Experience of running a busy kitchen.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Desirable: Supervision or Management Experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Catering Management Team to deliver the best catering service for Patients, Staff and Visitors.
• Ensure high standards of Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance across the service.
