Job summary

Powys Teaching Health Board is recruiting a part-time Hotel Services Catering Assistant (Band 2) at Bronllys Hospital in Brecon for 22.5 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

You will assist with beverages, snacks, salads, sandwiches, buffets and hot meals for patients and staff under the Hotel Services Supervisor, and may undertake other related duties within the catering operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering with understanding of safe practices.
• Level 2 NVQ in catering or equivalent qualification.
• Literacy and Numeracy at Level 1 or equivalent.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages, snacks, salads, sandwiches and buffets.
• Cook hot meals for patients and staff under supervision.
• Support wider Hotel Services tasks including cleaning or porter duties as required.
