Job summary

Powys Teaching Health Board in Wales is seeking a part-time Hotel Services Catering Assistant at Llandrindod Wells Memorial Hospital to support catering for patients and staff. Qualifications

• Experience in catering industry.
• Level 2 food safety.
• Literacy and Numeracy L1 or equivalent.
• Level 2 NVQ in catering or equivalent.
• To have gained a Level 2 in numeracy and literacy or equivalent or are willing to participate in further training to achieve it.
• To have gained or have previously held a CIEH Level 2 or equivalent food safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages, snacks, salads, sandwiches, buffets and hot meals for patients and staff.
• Carry out other duties to support the hotel services team, including cleaning or porter tasks.
• Work as part of a rota that can include evenings and weekends.

Skills
