ST MICHAEL'S HOSPICE (INCORPORATING THE FREDA PEARCE FOUNDATION) seeks an experienced Social Worker to join the Supportive Care team. Reporting to the Social Work Lead, you will deliver psychosocial support to patients, families and children, considering cultural, spiritual, social and financial factors, across the hospice.

You will manage your own caseload with autonomy, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to safeguarding responses within palliative care.

Formación

• Qualified social worker with up-to-date Social Work England registration.
• Experience providing psychosocial support in palliative or hospice settings is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously with clinical supervision as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct psychosocial support to patients, families and carers across care services.
• Address safeguarding issues and advise the wider team accordingly.
• Manage a caseload with confidentiality and professional boundary maintenance.
• Occasional evenings and weekends may be required; adhere to DBS requirements.
